History: No one was expecting Avery when he was born, for no one knew where he came from. He was found in the back alleyway of a street in Chicago a few days after his birthdate which has been determined to be around the 17th of November. He was given to a foster family that was in the military a year later after being stuck in a grim little orphanage during the time after he was found.
Because his family was in the military he moved around a lot. Mostly within the states for the first five years of his life. Living in Chicago, Washington state, and North Carolina during those years before his foster family was shipped to Germany. It was there where he spent the majority of his life and everything crashed for him.
While in Germany he spent most of his time in school and out and about on the streets. He was almost never at home except when he was sleeping or for meals. Once he hit his teenage years he started getting into a bit of trouble. Even though he was decent in school he still fell into the wrong crowd and that set up a major point in his life. He spent a few months in juvenile twice. Once for a fight and another time for vandalizing the school that he went to. (The last coming right before he came back to America) Even though the last time came at a time when charges could be pressed, none were due to his foster parents having connections.
When Avery moved back to the states, this time his family was actually stationed back in Chicago, he found himself mixed in with the wrong crowd again, but eventually taking control and being more a leader in these crowds which was generally just as bad. Romances and flings came and went for him as he furthered his lifestyle into what it was, but there were hardly any constants in his life as people went, while he was popular he just couldn’t stay connected to people long enough and so he felt like a loner, but in truth he was not.
Still living in Chicago, his life is centered on finding people who will put up with his tendency to be an ass.
Appearance:
Avery is pretty average height for his age, standing at about five feet ten inches tall. He’s also pretty lean and in shape having played basketball and soccer for a few school teams throughout his life. His hair is short and brown and can either be straight or curly depending on how he feels that day, but it is always pretty poofy. He has brown eyes that change from light brown to dark brown in certain light but they also get darker the more stressed or angry he feels according to his family, friends, and therapist.
His wardrobe is pretty different for someone like him. He tends to wear button up shirts with jeans rather than t-shirts and very rarely wears a hoodie. Though he can be seen wearing a faded leather jacket if it’s extremely cold out, he tends to wear as little as possible (not in that sense). He has been called metrosexual before, but he doesn’t go by this. He honestly doesn’t care much about how he dresses, he just dresses how he feels comfortable. His only real concern about looks is his poofy hair.
Personality: Since he’s lived in Germany most of his life, he knows the language pretty well and has a tendency to switch to it, mostly when angered or frustrated, but having lived in America again he is starting to get the hang of speaking English all the time again.
Avery is not necessarily a nice guy. In fact, most people would think of him as a douchebag, but if you catch him at the right time and you are someone he considers a friend to then he will fight to the death for you and be there for you even if he has more a tendency to screw people over just to get what he wants.
He likes to think he’s tough, but he still isn’t as strong as he likes to think he is. Continually getting into fights that he no reason to be in but he is getting a lot stronger now that he has the focus to do so.
He has never been one to get close to people, but sometimes he looks to change that. Living with a foster family and moving around really made it hard to connect but since he is looking for his own place to live in Chicago, and his family seems to be staying put until he can leave he will be more open to people nowdays.
