Other Western Suburbs Includes areas such as Elmhurst, Wheaton, and Des Plaines. These suburbs are affluent, with many people residing here being middle class or above. Evanston A city directly north of Chicago, Evanston can be considered a haven for minorities. Despite that, it is a decently populated area.	0	0
Waukegan Another working-class city located about 40 miles north of the Chicago Loop, Waukegan is home to plenty of minorities, as well as people who prefer a more rugged lifestyle.	0	0
Extreme SE Wisconsin (Kenosha area) Some people consider this small portion of Wisconsin as part of the Chicagoland area. Kenosha is located roughly 50 miles north of Chicago, and some residents dare to make the hellish commute to the Chicago area each day.	0	0
Southern Suburbs/NW Indiana Chicagoland extends into the northwestern portion of Indiana, which possesses many affluent suburbs and safe, prosperous communities... except Gary. That's a scary-ass place.	0	0
